Restoring Goldberg Manor: Part I

As many of you know, I have ventured out into the great boomer unknown and purchased a house. My goal with this series of posts is to give a sense of the improvements and changes which the building has (and will) suffer through in the name of preservation and stability. In certain cases I didn’t take a picture before changes occurred, so we’ll have to employ our active imaginations.

  1. I wish you get 1000 times the satisfaction of the feeling of cracking open a cold one after such good work. Looks good. Wish you the best for the many amazing years you would have in the house and other boomer fun (like a loving trad wife/gf and kids). Or good rent if you have other plans.

  2. Holy crap looks great! Did you do all the work yourself? And you’re not living there but renting it out, correct?

    1. I’ll be renting out two rooms and living there (on the weekends).

Mixture of my own work and contractors.
